We are so excited about our blog visitors!  We have had visits from over 50 different countries and 44 states!  Students have had fun decorating our room with flags from our visiting countries.  They mark each country on our world map, and have given many interesting reports on these countries.   A special notebook of flags, interesting information, photos, etc.  is being made.  We are going to celebrate with an ice cream party when we have all 50 states.

Thanks, blog friends!

"I think Ida B, by Katherine Hannigan, is a good book that keeps you on the edge of your seat.  Each chapter keeps you wanting to read more.  Some of the plot is a little sad, but not too much to be enjoyable.  I would recommend it to everybody!"

"Ida B. was an imaginative, wild, and courageous girl until her mom got cancer.  Then, instead of climbing trees, Ida kicked them.  Instead of Ida's father loving her, he began to yell at her.  And that's just the beginning..."

"I love Ida B. because it is a realistic fiction story.  It is realistic because Ida B. did not like school, and her mother got cancer.  It has a touch of fantasy with the "talking trees."  I think students will absolutely love the book!
