Students worked together on shared documents as they compared/contrasted strengths, obstacles, and accomplishments of famous black American athletes.
Island of the Blue Dolphins
Island of the Blue Dolphins has provided hours of fun for our class. Students have enjoyed discussing Karana's use of natural resources, considered her many tough decisions, and enjoyed her unique animal friends.
